The challenge was to design an aluminium case that could be manufactured without sheet molding and welding. This means that the finished case does not have to be painted or anodised, as the sheet metal is only folded and beaded. Now the Xplorer has prevailed in the test of the motorcycle magazine No. 19 against 10 competitive products of well-known international brands as test winner.
