Our customer Flender had designed a gearbox that enabled a significant increase in performance for wind turbines. More compact and lighter – this allows for more power high above the ground. It was the CEO at the time, Dr. Ulrich Bez, who commissioned us to visualize this gearbox development in an impressive way. So we combined the advantages of the gearbox with the design of a complete plant in an exhibition model. We even represented the cut Flender planetary gearbox as a model. The modern design of the plant is timelessly up-to-date. The response at the Hanover Fair exceeded all expectations and triggered a push for our customer that led to the founding of the subsidiary winergy.
