Sachs Big Roadster
Sachs, with its roots in the small motorcycle segment, wanted to use the engine of the Suzuki Intruder to enter the market with a “proper” motorcycle: a classic roadster, honest and completely unfaired.
For us, it was an exciting project that allowed us to start practically from scratch. We developed the initial ideas, created renderings and translated the design into a 1:1 tape drawing for the presentation.
Sachs then gave the green light for a 1:1 clay model. Based on this, the exhibition model was produced in GRP – a mock-up that already looked and felt like a real motorcycle in its execution.
The response at Intermot was overwhelmingly positive. Based on this success, Sachs went on to develop the production model: the Sachs 805 Big Roadster.
