K2 System M1/M2
Ski and binding are increasingly perceived by consumers as a single integrated system. The K2 M1 Ski responds to this development with a new approach: together with K2, we developed an innovative interface that consistently combines ski and binding into one integrated system.
The concept simplifies installation for retailers, allows the ski and binding to be optimally matched and thereby improves performance on the slopes. At the same time, the interface gives the ski a distinctive, premium appearance even without the binding mounted.
The M2 is based on the same system but is designed as a separate plate that can be mounted on almost any K2 ski. This created a flexible system that combines the benefits of integration with the freedom of a retrofit solution.
