Description
The challenge was to design an aluminium case that could be manufactured without deep drawing or welding. The finished case therefore requires neither painting nor anodising, as the sheet metal is simply folded and reinforced with formed beads.
The result proved itself in practice: In a test published in issue 19 of Motorrad magazine, the Xplorer beat ten competing products from renowned international brands, taking first place in the overall ranking.
