Dynafit Daymaker
An engineer convinced Dynafit with a particularly powerful LED technology. The ability to see safely in complete darkness – off-piste and deep into the night – opened up an entirely new application for the successful ski-binding specialist.
Together with the electronics specialist, Dynafit commissioned us to turn this technical innovation into a market-ready product and design.
The result was the Daymaker, a powerful lighting system specifically developed for ski touring at night. The four precisely coordinated LED modules not only give the system a distinctive technical character, but also create a clear and unmistakable design language.
Particular attention was paid to the seamless integration into the Dynafit helmet. The light and the helmet were not conceived as two separate products, but as a single design unit.
In this way, an innovative LED technology became a distinctive product that convincingly combines functionality, technology and Dynafit’s characteristic design language.
